We love Mother Earth
What we do today is their tomorrow. Caring for the planet & for the future for our Binibabes is at the heart of everything we do. At every stage of production & delivery we consider the sustainability of our processes, packaging & waste.
A fully sustainable source of snuggles…
We use the finest natural, or certified recycled materials on the planet to bring you BINIBAMBA. From Merino wool & sheepskin, to cotton & kraft paper... sustainable super fibres make our world.
Our sheepskin Snugglers are 100% natural, biodegradable & sustainable. Sheepskin is one of the hardest wearing natural fibres on the planet - ready for all your Binibabe can throw at it. We treat BINIBAMBA products like modern, snuggly heirlooms... hand-me-downs to be loved on loop. From the Moses basket at birth to the bouncer, buggy & more - we value slow fashion that sticks around & respects the earth.

Ethically made with love…
We care & want to share where BINIBAMBA is sourced. We've worked with the same family run factory & world renowned tannery since our launch. All our factories are independently audited to ensure that they comply to the highest ethical standards & our tannery is LWG GOLD certified. This is an industry recognised, independent acknowledgement of the transparency of our supply chain & excellence in ethical production.
Our sheepskins are a by-product of the meat industry - no animal is killed exclusively for its fur. We make use of this beautiful natural material, that otherwise, would end up in landfill. We have a transparent supply chain right back to the farms in Australia & New Zealand where our Merino sheep are reared. Our sheep are treated ethically & are certified mulesing-free.
Binibabes can sleep tight
Rest assured we independently test our sheepskins to ensure they are REACH compliant. This means that they are certified to be free of nasties including azo dyes, formaldehyde & chrome VI & are suitable from birth.

Recycle
Made from post consumer waste - the wind & water resistant outer of our Puffmuff is handmade from GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified 100% recycled polyester, helping to minimise our impact on the environment.
As part of our commitment to both the planet & the safety of our Binibabes, we are proud that our Puffmuff is PFC free. Perfluorinated chemicals (PFC’s) are chemicals applied to fabrics to increase their waterproof capabilities & are widely used in outdoor products. Extremely persistent in the environment, studies have shown PFC’s take a very long time to break down, allowing them to accumulate in quantities that are damaging to the environment & also to the health of those wearing products that contain them. Binibabes can sleep tight… you won’t find any of those nasties here.
Mindfully produced
We use an innovative eco-tanning process for our sheepskins that reduces water usage by 30%, recycles all tanning liquors & is kinder on the planet.
Our products are seasonless - there's no throw away trends here. We celebrate slow fashion, produce mindfully & have a zero waste policy. We use offcuts to produce our rich two-tone stripe Snugglers & run an annual sample sale. Waste nothing - the planet provides all the good stuff & we take care to minimise our footprint at every step.

We are anti-plastic
Not only are our products natural & sustainably sourced - all our packaging is also completely plastic-free. Our Kraft mailers are FSC certified - so we can be sure they are produced ethically from recycled & sustainable sources to protect our forests for generations to come.
Re-use. Repurpose. Recycle.
Love our dustbags? So do we - and not just because they're handcrafted from 100% natural Cotton. These sustainable drawstring wonders are the perfect reusable parenting hack. We encourage our Binibabes to extend their lives & love that you've made use of them as change bags, snack bags, toy bags & more.

Baby steps to a brighter future…
There's always more to do & we're always striving to be better.
We know you feel the same & would love to hear your thoughts on how we can nurture the planet. What do you want to see? What can we do better? What can we do more of? What we do today is their tomorrow.
Let's work together. Let's talk. Let's try. Join us in taking more than just baby steps together to be better.
