HOW TO CARE

Learn more about how to care for the natural super-fibres that make our world.

SHEEPSKIN

Before use, run your hand around the pre-cut harness holes & edge of our Snugglers & Puffmuff to remove any loose natural fibres. Follow with a gentle shake.

Gently shaking & regularly brushing your sheepskin with your BINIBRUSH is enough to keep your sheepskin in tip top condition.

Sponge off light spills with a damp cloth, dry away from direct heat & give a good brush once dry, to restore the fluffy pile. Never machine wash, tumble dry or iron.

If really needed, you may specialist sheepskin dry clean. We recommend speaking to your dry cleaner about a specialist dry cleaning process for shearling to make sure they are able to do it. A more curly natural sheepskin appearance is to be expected after dry cleaning.

For our sheepskin Binibears, we recommend spot cleaning with a damp cloth, or handwashing using a gentle wool detergent. Once dry give your bear a gentle brush using our BINIBRUSH avoiding their eyes, to help your Binibear get back to it’s best. Never machine wash, tumble dry or iron.

LOVE ME

Our sheepskins undergo lengthy cleaning processes during our tanning process & are clean & ready to use on arrival.

Like all natural materials, sheepskin will fade gradually over time particularly if exposed to prolonged direct sunlight. Do not store in direct light.

Our darker sheepskin colours & prints meet industry required colour run standards for both wet & dry rub tests. Slight colour transfer, however, may occur in extreme conditions or in contact with sunscreen & urine. Please follow our care instructions and please note that you purchase at your risk.

Sheepskin is a natural material. Variations in the colour, markings, pile & patina will vary from sheepskin to sheepskin & are part of the natural character of our products. No two sheepskins are ever the same, making every BINIBAMBA unique.

WOOL

Just as you wouldn't throw your favourite wool jumper in the wash, treat your BINI with love to keep it at its best.

Naturally antibacterial & dirt resistant, sponge off light spills with a damp cloth & keep washing to a minimum.

For more stubborn stains handwash cool with a wool detergent, reshape whilst damp & leave to dry away from direct heat. Never machine wash, tumble dry or iron.

Wool will feel slightly stiffer after washing but will soften quickly with use. Never machine wash or tumble dry.

Due to the suede sole of our Binibooties - we recommend spot clean, or if really necessary, specialist dry clean.

Do not iron our teddy wool clothing styles. Our merino wool blankets & knitwear can be ironed on a delicate wool setting if required.

Wool is a natural material. Slight variations in the colour & texture of our wool styles may vary & are part of the natural character of our products - making every BINIBAMBA unique.

COTTON

Cool machine wash our 100% Cotton knitwear & dustbags on a delicate 30 degree or wool setting. Re-shape whilst sample & dry flat. Iron if required on a delicate cool setting.

For our Cotton crochet bears, rattles & buggy totes we recommend spot cleaning using a gentle detergent. Do not soak & dry away from direct heat. Never machine wash, tumble dry or iron.

COATED BUGGY MITTENS

The protective coating of our mittens can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth. For sheepskin care, please see above.

RECYCLED PUFFMUFF OUTER

The PFC free, recycled wind & water resistant outer of our Puffmuff is extremely hardwearing. Spot clean with a damp cloth to keep your Puffmuff in top top condition. For sheepskin care, please see above.
