HOW TO USE
USE ME SAFELY
Our products are designed for daytime use & naps with you present & not for overnight sleep. Do NOT use for prone (face down) sleeping. Always supervise your baby when using our products. Read more from the Lullaby Trust below.
BE PRESENT
BINIBAMBA is designed to grow with your baby. Our Snugglers are multi-use & can be used in the moses basket, bassinet, baby bouncer, buggy & baby seat from birth.
HOT CONDITIONS
Our sheepskin Snugglers are designed for use all year around*. Naturally thermoregulating they help keep your Binibabe toasty in winter and cool come summer. Sheepskin traps warm air between it's fibres creating a cosy micro climate. While in warm conditions, moisture & sweat is drawn away from the skin keeping them dry & cool.
*In extreme heat, we do not recommend using our sheepskin & wool baby products as they cannot be relied upon to provide a cooling effect in these conditions. Always use your own judgement & regularly check your baby's temperature for signs of overheating.
Avoiding heat & direct sunlight is essential in extreme temperatures and keeping your baby inside in the cool as much as possible is advised. Regularly check them to ensure that they are comfortable & not too hot, keep them hydrated and avoid extra layers.
We do not recommend using our printed or stripe sheepskin Snugglers in high temperatures when your baby is bare skinned as suncream (and urine) can strip the sheepskin & colour transfer may occur. If this does happen please rest assured our prints are harmless and will wash off in the bath or shower. Using in these conditions is at your own risk.
TESTING
Our products undergo lengthy independent testing, so that both you & your Binibabe can sleep tight.
Our sheepskins are REACH compliant & free of formaldehyde, azo dyes & chrome VI, making them suitable for babies. Our plain Snugglers® are also OEKO-TEX® Leather Standard certified - certification code 11800-60. This means that they have undergone rigorous testing to confirm their safety & freedom from harmful chemicals.
Our Puffmuff's® wind & water resistant outer material is crafted from a GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified, recycled polyester made from post consumer waste & is PFC free.
Perfluorinated chemicals (PFC’s) are chemicals applied to fabrics to increase their waterproof capabilities & research has shown that they are both harmful to the environment & health when worn or washed. We are proud our Puffmuff® is PFC free.

TREAT WITH LOVE
Our products are handmade from the finest merino sheepskin & wool.
Natural fibres need to be treated with care & some natural shedding may occur initially with use.
We recommend giving your BINIBAMBA a good shake pre-use & regularly brushing away loose fibres with our Binibrush.
